Kickoff in Amsterdam

Two days of knowledge sharing, brainstorming and teambuilding; what a great start of the SELF project.

The meeting took place in February 2025 at Sportways Amsterdam, right next to the hockey fields of top hockey clubs Pinoké and AHBC. After a theoretical refresher of the topic self-regulation, we experienced what an exercise of the toolbox-to-be-developed may look like, with a fun sportive exercise.

The rest of the time together we held lively discussions about the terms and conditions of the toolbox, and dissemination, did a fun teambuilding exercise in which we got to know each other on a whole new level, and made agreements about the tasks to be executed in the upcoming months.

Before our next meeting in Copenhagen, together we will develop self-regulation exercises for the toolkit, which will be piloted in youth basketball and hockey teams in Austria, Georgia, Denmark and Czech Republic in autumn.
